As contained in our Catechism, our Church teaches us that "the desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will man find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for (27)". "This search for God demands every effort of the intellect (30)". "Man's faculties makes him capable of coming to a knowledge of the existence of a personal God. But for man to be able to enter into real intimacy with God, God willed both to reveal himself to man and give him the grace of being able to welcome this revelation in faith (35)". "God can be known with certainty from the created world by the natural light of human reason (36)". "Man stands in need of being enlightened by God's revelation, not only about these things that exceed his understanding but also about those religious and moral truths which of themselves are not beyond the grasp of human reason (38)".
God's revelation of his mystery is so big that we cannot totally comprehend him. But we need to continue our search for him and about him in order to comprehend him. That is why we need to continue our catechesis. Oftentimes after confirmation, we stop learning about God and about our Catholic faith. But we cannot grow in our love for God and in our spiritual life if we stop learning about God and our faith.
Saint Therese Parish offers an Adult Continuing Education Program because we see the need for our parishioners to grow in the knowledge about their faith. Every Year we offer different classes. Please check our Bulletin for the announcement of the upcoming classes.

If you are willing to listen, you can learn;
if you pay attention, you can be instructed...
(Ecclesiasticus [Sirach] 6: 33)
Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them;
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
(Matthew 19: 14)
Periodically, we hold training for any children who would like to become altar servers. To be an altar server, you must be a baptized Catholic and have received your First Holy Communion. We would like to encourage all boys and girls of the parish who qualify and are interested to attend the training.
This is a good way for young people to be involved in their parish and strengthen their relationship with the church. This is also a good opportunity for children who have just received their First Holy Communion to stay active in the church. The training usually lasts one hour. Thank you.

The Lord GOD has given me a well-trained tongue, that I might
know how to answer the weary a word that will waken them.

The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?
Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one body,
for we all partake of the one loaf.
(1 Corinthians 10: 16-17)
It is a big privilege and honor to give Christ in the Eucharist during Mass. If you think the Lord is calling you for this ministry please call:

Sing a new song to the LORD, for he has done marvelous deeds.
Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth; break into song; sing praise.
Sing praise to the LORD with the lyre, with the lyre and melodious song.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn shout with joy to the King, the LORD.
(Psalm 98: 1, 4-6)
If the Lord has gifted you with a singing voice or if you can play any musical instrument and would like to share your talent and time at our scheduled Masses please call:

Let no one have contempt for your youth,
but set an example for those who believe,
in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.
(1 Timothy 4: 12)
For all youth who are in 9th grade through 20 years old, join other young people who are living their faith in an exuberant and dynamic way.
Lifeteen is a Eucharist-centered movement within the Church with the aim of leading our youth and their families to Jesus Christ and to the Catholic Church. Lifeteen activities involve prayer, scripture, service community, liturgy, Eucharistic adoration and fellowship. Lifeteen aims to involve our youth in our parish so that they will fall in love with God and our Catholic faith.
Young people always look for unique experiences, and the aim of Lifeteen is to let the youth experience God. It is to make their faith come alive! That is why we have begun to send our youth to different youth conferences so that they can experience the fire of knowing God and their Catholic faith. The youth conferences are well attended by youths all over the country.
Our parish and our church need the youth for her vigor. Our youth are not only the future of the Church, they ARE the church. We encourage you to send you kids ages 14 to 20 yrs old to our Lifeteen Youth group.
Apart from the youths, Lifeteen also needs adults to help out in the program as organizers, guide, and chaperons. If you are interested to have you faith enliven, you should volunteer to assist in the program. If you are interested to help, please volunteer because we need all the help that we can get.
