4th Saturday of every month 
(except during Lent and the month of December)

Baptism Preparation Class

English Baptism Preparation classes are scheduled after you have registered the date of the baptism.

Requirements:

• Children to be baptized must be 6 years old or younger. If your child is 7 years old or older, he or she should be enrolled in our CCD class. Please click here for more information.

• Registration before Baptism is required. Please register at the parish office at least a week before the actual Baptism. Please provide the birth certificate of the child. A $50.00 donation is asked for the Baptism Preparation class per child to be baptized.

• Parents and godparents are required to attend the Baptism Preparation Class.
  • Godparents can be individuals who have been married in the church and not divorced.
    • A godparent can also be single, not living with another person without the benefit of the sacrament of marriage in the Church. Single and/or married godparents should be actively practicing their faith, weekly Mass goers, and have received the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation.
    • Godparents are required to submit their Baptismal, First Communion, and Confirmation certificates. Married godparents are required to submit their marriage certificate.

• It is traditional for the parents and/or godparents to bring the following for the baptism (not required) :
  • Baptismal Candle
  • White garment or Baptismal stole
